Joe Wood

Joe has extensive experience with HAGI having worked for many years as both the Maintenance Supervisor and Housing Coordinator; consequently, he knows the properties inside and out, as well as the Wilderness Discovery Centre.

Joe established a Non-Profit housing management business, serving a client base that included groups providing housing to seniors, people with various health issues, and the First Nations community.

While on the HAGI board, Joe’s goal is to further improve the existing HAGI housing properties and aid in developing a third housing complex. Joe is experienced in this role as he has helped develop many buildings in the Northwestern Ontario region. Currently enjoying his retirement, Joe spends his free time painting portraits and pictures.
